The short answer

Play in your browser right now, or grab a tiny free Steam demo

If you searched for free browser FPS games with no download, you can start playing a real single player shooter on this site in one click: Iron Curtain Call: 60 Seconds of War loads about 36 MB in any modern desktop browser with WebGL 2, needs no account or installer, and gives you two guns, a dash and a healing punch against wind up tin robots.

Once that sixty second arena warms you up, you have two ways to keep playing for free on PC: download the free Mission 1 Steam demo of Iron Curtain Call (Windows, macOS, Linux), or try the tiny, fast loading free Steam demos of ULTRAKILL, Roboquest, MULLET MADJACK and HROT, plus full free to play Steam shooters Team Fortress 2 and THE FINALS.

We also include Quake ($9.99) and DUSK ($19.99) because their installs are tiny and they boot from desktop to first shot in under three seconds.

Iron Curtain Call

My game · Play in browser now

Play it if: you want to play a 1930s rubber hose cartoon FPS in your browser right now with no download, no login and no launcher.

Iron Curtain Call: 60 Seconds of War is the free browser trial of my upcoming Steam shooter (11 March 2027). Built in Godot 4.7 for WebGL 2 and WebAssembly, it streams roughly 36 MB into your desktop browser tab and drops you into an alternate 1965 arena with keyboard and mouse controls.

You get two guns (Pink Slip and Party Line), a dash, and the Knuckle Sandwich punch that turns wind up tin soldiers into health and ammo. When the sixty second clock ends, the free Steam demo gives you all of Chapter 1 on Windows, macOS and Linux.

It is a true desktop FPS running in your browser tab, backed by a full twelve chapter Steam game.

Questions

Questions players ask about no download browser shooters

How do I play Iron Curtain Call in my browser with no download?

Open ironcurtaincall.com/play/ in a desktop or laptop browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari) with a keyboard and a mouse. Click start; the browser streams about 36 MB of WebGL 2 and WebAssembly assets and launches the 60 second arena with no installer and no account.

Does the free browser FPS trial work on Mac, Windows and Linux?

Yes. Because it runs in a standard WebGL 2 desktop browser tab, it works on Windows, macOS and Linux desktops and laptops. For a longer native build on all three operating systems, download the free Mission 1 demo on Steam.

What can I play after the 60 second browser trial?

The free Steam demo of Iron Curtain Call covers all of Mission 1 (15 to 20 minutes, ending with the boss Major Disaster), and you can also download the free Steam demos of ULTRAKILL, Roboquest, MULLET MADJACK and HROT.

What PC and indie games are coming out in 2027?

More than one page can hold: Steam shows a lot of PC and indie games with a 2027 date, and dates keep moving. What we checked on Steam on 7 November 2026 are the shooters and the Mac action games, in two dated lists: upcoming FPS games and upcoming Mac games. Iron Curtain Call, our own cartoon noir shooter, is due 11 March 2027 on Windows and macOS, and its free demo is on Steam now.

What games release on 11 March 2027?

Among the shooters we checked on Steam on 7 November 2026: Blood of Rations (11 March 2027) and Iron Curtain Call (My game, 11 March 2027). We only checked shooters, so this is not the full set for that day; Steam’s own Coming Soon page has the rest.

What is a good new single player FPS I can play for free right now?

Iron Curtain Call has a free demo on Steam (Mission 1, about 15 to 20 minutes) and a free 60 second browser trial with no download. It is a single player cartoon noir shooter, and it is our game, so weigh that. For other free shooters, our list of free FPS demos on Steam holds the best rated ones.
