A free FPS in your browser, no download
Iron Curtain Call is a fast, sarcastic first person shooter set in an alternate 1965. This page runs a free trial of it right in the tab: no download, no installer, no account, and no ads on this page. Press the button, wait for the loading card, and you are on a firing range at the start of World War III with sixty seconds on the clock.
You get two guns, a punch, a dash and a jump against Tin Grunts, Tick Tocks, Peepers and a Boiler. The Pink Slip you throw through a whole squad, and it always comes back. The Party Line is a red rotary telephone that lobs grenades. When the minute is up the Supreme Chancellor ends your free trial, and the card that follows offers one more minute, the free demo on Steam or the wishlist. Think of it as a one minute shooting range with a plot.

Browsers, computers and phones
It runs in a current desktop or laptop browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, with WebGL 2, WebAssembly and audio worklets, plus a keyboard and a mouse. We build and test it in Chrome. The first visit loads about 36 MB of game data into the tab (measured on 5 November 2026) and your browser keeps it for next time. If your browser cannot run it, the page says so and points you to the free demo on Steam.
A phone or a tablet will not do: it is a first person shooter for a keyboard and a mouse, with no touch controls. On a touch screen the page shows a notice instead; you can still choose to load it, or wishlist the game on Steam and play at your desk.
At school or at work? There is nothing to install, so nothing for anyone to approve, but a network can still block a site and we cannot promise it loads behind a filter. Add ?mute to the address and the trial starts silent.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The browser trial costs nothing, needs no account and has no ads on this page. It is a free sample of Iron Curtain Call, a paid game: the first chapter is a free demo on Steam, and the full game is out on 11 March 2027.
Do I have to download anything?
No. It runs inside the page: there is no installer and no launcher. The first visit loads about 36 MB of game data into the tab, and your browser keeps it for next time.
How long does it last?
Sixty seconds on the clock, then the Supreme Chancellor cuts in. The card that follows offers one more minute, the free demo and the wishlist, so you can keep going if you like.
Does it work on a phone?
No. The trial needs a keyboard and a mouse and has no touch controls. Try it on a computer; on a phone, wishlist the game on Steam.
Which browsers does it run in?
Current desktop and laptop versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, as long as WebGL 2 is on. We test in Chrome. If the game cannot start, the page says so and points to the free demo on Steam.
Is this the whole game?
No. It is sixty seconds in one arena against tin robots. The free demo on Steam is the whole of Chapter 1: Rubbleton, fifteen to twenty minutes, Major Disaster at the end and no timer. The full war, twelve chapters and eleven guns, is out on 11 March 2027.
Can I play with the sound off?
Yes. Add ?mute to the address and the trial starts silent, or mute the tab in your browser. The game has its own music, voices and sound effects.
What kind of game is it?
A fast first person shooter in the boomer shooter tradition, drawn like a 1930s rubber hose cartoon. Our guides to rubber hose and cartoon FPS games and to fast FPS games compare it with others.
